My client is a fast growing, specialist technology company that provides business intelligence, project delivery and advisory products to the global (re)insurance industry. Founded in 2008 and based in London, they combine a deep understanding and have wide experience of the IT challenges facing carriers and brokers alike, to deliver unique, innovative and quantifiable solutions for insurers.

Their Data Warehousing MI offering enables insurers to better manage and drive value from their data. Whether it is cleansing and unlocking legacy data, or providing a market leading data warehouse with beautifully crisp dashboards, the EDW MI Data Warehouse transforms the way you collect and manage your data.

The business had supplied its market leading Data Warehousing MI offering as an on premise solution. The business retained Richard as a Board Advisor to look at how this service could be delivered as a Cloud Service. The brief included working with third parties to explore the development of a secure, cloud based proposition for the EDW Data Warehouse. The scope of the assignment included the pricing model, data escrow, encryption and security, cloud architecture and the messaging and positioning of the solution to the London Insurance market.

ISV in the SaaS based Project Portfolio Management (PPM) segment

My client is a UK based ISV who have developed a comprehensive SaaS based Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Transformational Governance SaaS platform for Enterprises and Service Providers.

The SaaS platform includes powerful control, assurance, highly effective stakeholder engagement, programme & project planning and delivery, with real-time reporting for continuous feedback, improving success and team performance. The many business benefits include reduced cost, risk and timescales through better engagement – including senior decision makers – with full visibility across multiple project teams for faster decision making.

The business and its partners also provide consultancy to help PPMs, Executives and PMOs succeed through training, mentoring, best practice and support.

The business retained Interim Europe to work closely with the founders and assist with accelerating the growth of the business and increasing its base of impressive blue chip clients and major outsourcers and building out its partner network of VAR’s.

Key areas of the assignment included exploiting the current pipeline, requalify and move stuck deals, improve channel performance, coverage and reach and explore OEM / Licensing deals with other ISV’s
